Overview. UIScrollView is the superclass of several UIKit classes, including UITableView and UITextView . A scroll view is a view with an origin that’s adjustable over the content view. 2. change Size to Freeform instead of Inferred.
3. Go to the main view on that storyboard, not your scrollview but rather the top level view.
4. Click Size Inspector and set this view to your desired size.

You need to set the frame of your UIScrollView so that it is less than the contentSize . Otherwise, it won’t scroll.
