To restart the update process, return to the HPE Synergy Software Releases website: https://www.hpe.com/info/synergy-sw-release-information and download the HPE OneView update image ( . bin ) file and start the update procedure. If you are updating from HPE OneView 5.2 or later versions, click Upload.

In an orchestrated update, only one interconnect module of a pair is updated at a time. After the update of the first module is complete, the update of the second module begins. This update takes more time to complete when compared to a parallel update.

Procedure Use the HPE Synergy 12000 Frame Rack Templateto identify locations for installing cage nuts and rack rails for the Synergy frame(10U of rack space). Install lower cage nuts (left and right) in the bottom of the fourth U (10 holes up on the template).

Mezzanine cards for Synergy compute modules come in two sizes: Type C and Type D. Type C cards can be installed in either Type C or Type D mezzanine slots, while Type D mezzanine cards can only be installed in Type D slots.
