What is Dell Wireless 1705 Driver?

This package contains the Dell Wireless 1705 Bluetooth driver. Bluetooth driver is the software that helps your operating system to communicate with Bluetooth devices.

1. Click Start.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. In the search box (upper-right corner), type adapter.
4. Under Networking and Sharing Center, click View network connections.
5. All the network adapters that are installed in your laptop are listed.
6. Look at the Wireless Network Connection adapter listed.

After upgrading the driver, Dell portable systems should then be able to toggle the Bluetooth on/off normally. Toggle via Settings > Devices > Bluetooth.

If you have the latest network driver then try on it’s Driver tab also to Roll Back, or Uninstall and then restart PC to reinstall the driver. Try also all older drivers from Update Driver > Browse > Let Me Pick list working backwards.

2. Solution

1. Turn on system.
2. Tap the < F2 > key at the Dell logo – to enter the system BIOS.
3. Select Wireless from the left menu.
4. Then Wireless Switch.
5. Set the Wireless Switch settings to not turn off Bluetooth.
6. Press the ‘ Apply ‘ button.
7. Exit from BIOS.
8. Perform a full shutdown from Windows for changes to take effect.
