How do you enter a phone number in international format?

A phone number in full international format includes a plus sign (+) followed by the country code, city code, and local phone number. When contacting WhatsApp, always send your phone number in full international format.

Convert Text to Numbers Using ‘Convert to Number’ Option

1. Select all the cells that you want to convert from text to numbers.
2. Click on the yellow diamond shape icon that appears at the top right. From the menu that appears, select ‘Convert to Number’ option.

To summarize, when you want to place an international call:

1. Dial the IDD, which for majority of the world is 00 or 011.
