How do I debug WebStorm?

To create a run/debug configuration:

1. Click on the drop-down menu in the top right corner of WebStorm and select Edit configurations…
2. Click on the + icon and select the configuration type: we select Node.
3. Add the missing information about the debug environment: we need to specify the main file that runs our app.

To start debugging, hold Ctrl+Shift and click the link. WebStorm starts a debugging session with an automatically generated Attach to Node.

Run the local serverless function In Visual Studio Code, press F5 to launch the debugger and attach to the Azure Functions host. You could also use the Debug > Start Debugging menu command. The code created by the default HTTP trigger template parses a name query parameter to customize the response.

Manage function apps from IDEA Click to select on one of your function apps, and right click, select Show Properties to open the detail page. Right click on your HttpTrigger-Java function app, and select Trigger Function, you will see that the browser is opened with the trigger URL.

1. Have a Function App deployed to the Azure platform and had a Hybrid connection(V-Net Integration) to communicate with the on-prem server.
2. Attach a remote debugger to the Function app.
3. Confirm the remote debugger is attached to the W3WP process.
4. Set the breakpoints.

Running and testing the Timer triggered function locally In Visual Studio, place a breakpoint on the first line of the function you want to debug. Then press F5 to build and run your application in debug mode.

Create a scheduled WebJob

1. In the Azure portal, go to the App Service page of your App Service web app, API app, or mobile app.
2. Select WebJobs.
3. In the WebJobs page, select Add.
4. Use the Add WebJob settings as specified in the table. Table 4. Setting. Sample value.
5. Click OK. The new WebJob appears on the WebJobs page.

From the Visual Studio menu, select File > New > Project. In Create a new project, enter functions in the search box, choose the Azure Functions template, and then select Next. In Configure your new project, enter a Project name for your project, and then select Create.

Get connection information

1. Sign in to the Azure portal.
2. Select SQL Databases from the left-hand menu, and select your database on the SQL databases page.
3. Select Connection strings under Settings and copy the complete ADO.NET connection string. For Azure SQL Managed Instance copy connection string for public endpoint.

Publish your function to Azure You can publish your function app to Azure directly from Visual Studio. In Solution Explorer, right-click the project and select Publish. Choose Create New and then click Publish.

Deploy by using Azure CLI You can use Azure CLI to trigger a push deployment. Push deploy a . zip file to your function app by using the az functionapp deployment source config-zip command. To use this command, you must use Azure CLI version 2.0.

Create an Azure Functions project

1. From the Visual Studio menu, select File > New > Project.
2. In Create a new project, enter functions in the search box, choose the Azure Functions template, and then select Next.
3. In Configure your new project, enter a Project name for your project, and then select Create.
