How do you reset advanced PC settings?

On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot. From there, you can: Restore from a system restore point by selecting Advanced options > System Restore. This will remove recently installed apps, drivers, and updates that might be causing your PC problems.

The Advanced Boot Options screen lets you start Windows in advanced troubleshooting modes. You can access the menu by turning on your computer and pressing the F8 key before Windows starts.

Boot to Advanced Startup Options from Settings in Windows 10. 1. Open Settings, and click/tap on the Update & security icon. 2. Click/tap on Recovery on the left side, and click/tap on Restart now under Advanced startup on the right side.

If you wish to directly access these Advanced startup options when working on your Windows 10, you can do so via the Settings app of Windows 10 > Update & Security > Recovery > Advanced startup and click the Restart now button. Clicking on Startup Settings will let you change the preset startup settings and options.
