How do I make my library private on Android?

To create a new library module in your project, proceed as follows:

1. Click File > New > New Module.
2. In the Create New Module window that appears, click Android Library, then click Next.
3. Give your library a name and select a minimum SDK version for the code in the library, then click Finish.

To achieve this, we follow the steps below:

1. Create a new Android app that showcases the library.
2. Create a new library module within the Android app.
3. Write the code for your custom library.
4. Add the library as a dependency to the project.
5. Publish your library to Github.

Publish Android library to GitHub Package Registry

1. Step 1 : Generate a Personal Access Token for GitHub. Inside you GitHub account:
2. Step 2: Store your GitHub – Personal Access Token details.
3. Step 3 : Update build.gradle inside the library module.
4. Step 4 : Publish the Android Library onto GitHub Package Registry.

Part 1 — Publish Android library to GitHub Packages

Steps

1. Create an Android project and add a library module, here my library module name is mylibrary.
2. Add the android-maven plugin in your project/build.gradle.
3. In your library/build.gradle add maven plugin and group setting.
4. Upload this project to your github.
5. Create a release tag.
6. Open JitPack and lookup your repository.

Publish the release. Open a new tab and go to jitpack.io. Insert your repository address and click on Lookup. Your releases will be listed . Now click on Get it. Congratulations your Android Library has been published and is ready to be used. Now you can use this android library in any of your projects .

From the Admin console Home page, go to AppsWeb and mobile apps. Click Add app Add private Android app. At the bottom, click Create . Enter a title. Click Upload APK. Select an APK and click Open. Click Select. To let all users in your organization install the app, select Entire organization.

When you publish a private app for the first time, a Play Console account is created on behalf of your organization. Private apps are automatically approved for your organization and are typically ready for distribution within 10 minutes. You can upload up to 15 private apps per day. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

If an app with the same app ID was published by another organization (publicly or privately), you can’t publish the app until the developer changes the application ID for your variant. However, you can add public apps to your app list to make them available to your users as managed apps.
