How do I delete a Microsoft account from my Microsoft phone?

On your Android device, open Link to Windows by going into the Quick Access panel, tap and hold on the Link to Windows icon. Click on Microsoft account. Scroll down to Your Phone Companion where you will see your previously used Microsoft account email address. Click on Your Phone Companion and click Remove account.

The ONLY way to change the primary Microsoft account that is used on the phone is by hard resetting the phone & setting it up agaib with a different Microsoft account. When you reset the phone the phone will be returned to the state it was in when you bought it.

To change your Microsoft account phone number, click the Remove link next to your contact number. If you don’t have a contact number for your account, skip to the next step to add one. When you see the confirmation dialog, click Remove button to remove the phone number from your account.
